The American Red Cross of Chicago & Northern Illinois will be installing smoke detectors for free this weekend in Rockford.

You can sign up to get one installed this weekend here. Smoke detectors save lives every year and it's always better to be safe than sorry. They're only installing a limited number of smoke detectors so be sure to apply beforehand.
