Freeport Makes It OK For Missing Last Night’s Fireworks

I completely missed Rockford's fireworks show last night and it was 100% on purpose. Although, I did hear my neighbor's driveway spectacular. Thankfully, Freeport is hosting their Independence Day celebration this weekend.

• Cost: Free admission
• What: Light The Night Freedom Fest
• Where: Stephenson County Fairgrounds, Freeport
• Why: Carnival and local food vendors, inflatables, carnival games, dance performances and live music, and fireworks at dusk.
