Free Lunch With The Eagle and Rockford Police Department Friday

Once again this year 96.7 The Eagle is teaming up with The Rockford Police Department and Special Olympics for "Tip a Cop" at Texas Roadhouse.

Last year we had such a great time meeting and greeting hundreds of people at The Texas Roadhouse on East State in Rockford, so we are doing it again.

Rockford Police Officers and staff will be serving a FREE  lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The only thing we ask, is that you leave them a nice tip.  The event is a fundraiser for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Look for the new 96.7 The Eagle van out front, myself and Lori will be greeting people at the front door.

On the menu Friday is The public is a pulled pork sandwich, corn and freshly-baked bread.

So stop out to The Texas Roadhouse for a free lunch, and leave a BIG tip for Special Olympics,  say thank you to those who protect us, and check out a pregnant Lori!
