  • What - Children's Home + Aid will host a Family Fun Night to recruit new foster parents in the Rockford area. They invite current foster parents and their families, and those interested in becoming foster parents to join them for a summer picnic to learn more about how to become a foster parent. Foster parents can be married or single and with or without children of their own. Potential foster parents must be over 21 years old, have adequate space in their homes, pass a background check and must have a stable source of income.
  • Who - Open to all who live in Rockford and the surrounding communities; light dinner, dessert, and drinks will be provided.
