There’s Only One Important Rule To Eating Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

If you put a pizza in front of me at any point in time, I will not refuse it.  I love pizza no matter where it's from.  Don't test me!

I've always been a huge fan of cheesy stuffed crust pizza because it just adds so much more flavor to the entire thing.  When you think it's an ordinary pizza, you get to the crust and realize there's so much more left to eat... and it's a whole lotta cheese. YUM!  Now I'm getting hungry just thinking about Sam's Pizza in my hometown of Rockford, Illinois.

What I don't eat a whole lot of is deep dish pizza.  It's a shame, I know.  Growing up my parents ordered us a lot of Pizza Hut whenever we'd have parties, but never deep dish.  Let me tell ya, I am so angry I didn't know about this style of greasy, cheesy goodness until later in life.

I knew there were different ways of eating certain types of pizza, so I wanted to know how to truly, properly eat Chicago deep dish pizza.  I didn't want to go about life doing it the wrong way!

There's Only One Rule To Properly Eating Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

It's simple: There are no rules! 

Whether you eat it from the top or bottom, with a knife and fork, or fold it in half, then you do that, boo.  As long as you enjoy every single cheesy bite you take, you're doing it 100% right.

So, how do you eat pizza?  I'm curious to know because I feel like the way someone eats a slice of pizza really tells a lot about a person.  You feel me?
