A local woman is doing what she does best to honor the victims of the Orlando Pulse Nightclub Shooting.

Tragedy struck Orlando this past Sunday when a gunman opened fire in what is being called the largest mass shooting in the United States. Forty-nine individuals were murdered and at least 53 more were injured while at Pulse Nightclub.

Pulse is a gay nightclub, which may have been why the shooter had targeted it.

Individuals from all over the world are coming together to do their best to help the victims' families and raise awareness for LGBT organizations.

Holly Johnson of Byron is one of those individuals.

Holly owns Holly's Hog Heaven, where she bakes gourmet cupcakes and cakes in many different flavors.

Holly has shared on Facebook that she will be making Rainbow Vanilla Bean Cupcakes in honor of the victims of the Orlando shooting for the next three weeks.

Half of the proceeds will go to Equality Florida, which is a non-profit LGBT civil rights organization. A donation page on GoFundMe has been set up for the victims families.

You can see the donation page HERE.

This goes to show no matter how big or small of a gesture, a little goes a long way. What a great idea Holly!

If you would like to order a dozen cupcakes from Holly, please reach out to her at 815-980-1060 or follow Holly's Hog Heaven on Facebook.
