Let's Help a Local Illinois Woman Battling Breast Cancer

I proudly tell ANYONE that if you need a hand, a few buck, an ear, a bunch of bodies to show up to support an event...96.7 The Eagle listeners are THE best. So here's my challenge to you, so have a spaghetti dinner in Stillman Valley for Krista Gronewold.

So here's Krista's story:

On June 3rd, 2021 Krista became concerned by a lump in her right breast that was large and appeared quickly. Given her family history of aggressive breast cancer and the loss of her mother to it she knew she had to act fast. Over the past month and a half she has gone through multiple tests and was diagnosed on her 31st birthday with stage 2 breast cancer. Given the rate it is growing in her breast it is imperative she receives urgent care. Krista will be having a double bilateral mastectomy the first week of August with treatment of chemotherapy and radiation to follow.
