Duh! IL and WI Have More Bars Than Grocery Stores

There's an old proverb that states, folks from Wisconsin are the drinkingest folks of all. Nobody knows who said it first. However, we all know that most crazy stories start with the line, 'A man from Wisconsin...' and ends with the line, ' Alcohol is suspected.'

I've have always said that there is a bar for every one person in the state north of the Cheddar Curtain. Well shut my mouth. Looks like Illinois is not much better behaved. There are more bars than grocery stores in Illinois and Wisconsin, according to this research. So let's stop the fussin' and a feudin' with our neighbors to the north and drunkenly put our arms around each other. Let's embrace that we have so much in common. Such as a need for an intervention.
