Donate Blood On Mondays This Summer, Get A Free Slushie

You know that you should be donating blood anyway. Now you have a little more incentive to do so. 

McDonald's has recently rolled out their new slushies. I've had a few. They're delicious. I'm a big slushie guy so that endorsement goes a long way.

Sidebar: I've noticed that Sonic is introducing a "pickle" flavored slushie. This is wrong on many levels. I'm not a guy that yucks someone's yum, but that is ridiculous.

Back to the blood stuff.

The Rock River Valley Blood Center has teamed up with McDonald's and will be giving out a coupon for the treat for everyone that donates blood on Mondays through August 28.
