Dixon’s ‘Chicken Car’ Traveling Country to Raise Awareness

While the Chicken Car provides a ton of laughs, it's mission is to raise awareness for mental illness.

If you are out driving around and you see a giant chicken in the road, fear not. It won't come peck you. It isn't a monster.

It's just a giant chicken car cruising the 48 states for a fantastic cause.

According to WIFR, three young men will be driving the car across country spread awareness about mental health issues.

If you or someone you know suffers from a mental illness, you know how incredibly difficult it can be. It can not only be difficult on the person suffering from the illness, but also those around them too. It is comforting to know that you are not alone.

The Mental Illness tour is hoping to break the stigma and raise awareness about mental health.

The Chicken Car has already been turning heads as it has been traveling. It is a journey shown in pictures at the Chicken Car website. You've got to see these pictures!

It also hasn't been all fun and games for the Chicken Car. It has seen some bad days, with it's eyeballs being stolen, it's window broken and more. But I believe that the Chicken Car will gain nothing but respect with it's Mental Illness Tour.
