If you were wondering when we turned back the clocks in Illinois this fall, I've got the answer for you.

When Illinois Ends Daylight Savings Time In 2024

I'm a morning radio show host so my my alarm goes off at a ridiculously early time each morning. I can never seem to get enough sleep so I'm constantly walking around in a zombie-like state. You never get used to those hours. You just learn to deal with it.

Since I have to be at work so early, I'm always paying attention to things like time and weather that could affect my drive to the radio station each day. I try to get as much sleep as possible but still make sure I'm cracking open the mic on time for my show.

One strange thing that really affects my sleep is the seasons. Every time it changes, I have trouble sleeping. Of course, daylight savings time takes a toll on my sleep too. I love rolling the clocks back in the fall so I get that extra hour. In turn, losing an hour in the spring sucks.

It officially turns fall on September 22nd. That means turning back the clock and the end of daylight savings time is just around the corner. No matter what season we're in, I just hate when it's pitch black outside when I'm on the way to work. That just sucks.

So here's the question. When does daylight savings end in Illinois during 2024? Well, mark it on your calendar. The magical day is November 3rd. Like it or not, at this point, we have no choice. So for right now, I'll just look forward to that extra hour of sleep.
