City Says Over 300 Homes in Rockford May Be Affected By Flooding

It's officially the first day of Spring, (YAY), and although the fact that warmer days aren't far away puts an extra spring in our steps, the historic flooding currently taking place in the Stateline is a MAJOR buzz kill. (BOO!)

Several Stateline residents have already been forced from their homes by flood waters, but the danger isn't over yet.

The City of Rockford says over 300 homes along the Rock River could still be impacted by the river's rising flood stage, and that residents need to stay informed.
