Illinois Cannabis Store Hit By Organized Smash-and-grab Crew
Smash-and-grab burglars have struck again in Illinois, this time hitting a cannabis shop in Chicago.
A Group Of Thieves Hit A Cannabis Shop In Illinois
Our world has become a crazy place. Crime is running rampant everywhere. Criminals have no fear. The latest wave of robberies is very disturbing. It's called a smash-and-grab. The thieves literally use a battering ram-type object and smash through the front door or window of a store to completely shatter it. So, the suspects aren't just stealing from the business; they are also causing serious damage. That adds insult to injury for the poor owners.

According to Fox 32 Chicago...
Surveillance video shows three to four suspects breaking a window and entering a South Loop cannabis store around 3:40 a.m. Monday before fleeing in a white SUV.
The latest smash-and-grab incident happened at a cannabis store called The Grasshopper Club in the South Loop neighborhood in Chicago. These thieves are so fast, it's hard to catch them. Plus, they're wearing masks, so even though the suspects are caught on security video, the police have trouble identifying them. The officers are hoping witnesses will come forward to help catch the burglars.

In this case, the suspects pulled up in an SUV, which was probably stolen before this robbery. It's funny because the thieves acted as if they had practiced the job or at least had a significant amount of experience. They all had a different assignment. One broke the door down. Then, like an assembly line, they took merchandise from the store and passed it down the line. Now, that's crime teamwork.
