Chicago Bear Roquan Smith Video Shoutout to Hononegah High School

The start of the 2019/2020 high school football season is almost here. The undefeated Hononegah Indians will begin defending their NIC-10 title.

Coach Brian Zimmerman and the Hononegah Indians have dominated the NIC-10 the last two seasons. You could feel the energy at Kelsey Field at the 27th Purple & Gold Fest this past Friday (8/23).

How exciting now to see their accomplishments got the attention of Chicago Bear Linebacker, Roquan Smith, who sent this message to the team on the eve of Purple & Gold Fest.

Hononegah starts their season at Harlem on Friday, August 30. The Huskies finished just behind the Indians last season in the NIC-10 standings
