Last night I went to Summerfest in Milwaukee to see our Hometown Heroes, Cheap Trick.

This was my first time seeing them perform since the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony.

As if Cheap Trick needed any more motivation to keep doing their thing, you can absolutely tell that the guys are driven and extremely happy.

A needed line up change, lawsuits, a new record, and an induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The past few years have put Cheap Trick on a new level and there is no stopping them anytime soon. As Rick Nielsen said on stage last night, "We're too dumb to quit".

Last nights show was a tremendous musical celebration that covered the entire Cheap Trick career. They played all the hits, two new songs, and brought Paul McCartney's AMAZING guitar player Rusty Anderson on stage for play a Beatles song.

The Rockford faithful were out in full force in Milwaukee and very vocal.

Thank you to the band for taking care of me, as always.
