Celebrate National Hammock Day In Rockford
Some fun things you can do to celebrate National Hammock Day in Rockford.
Saturday, July 22nd is National Hammock Day.
First of all, if you don't have your own hammock. I suggest going out and purchasing one. It is definitely worth the investment.
I got a hammock for a Father's Day present a couple of years ago. It's one of the best gifts I've ever received. I use it all the time. It's like a couch for outside.
Don't worry if you don't have two trees to hang it between. They also sell stands to hold up your hammock. That's what I have and it works great.
It's very important to make sure you place it in a shady location. You don't want to get over heated.
I was talking to Captain Jack and he owns a hammock and enjoys using it too.
If you are new to the hammock world, here are some fun things you can do while laying in a hammock.
- Relax
- Read
- Drink
- Eat
- Nap
- Text
- Tan
- Cuddle
- Watch TV
- Listen to music
- Play video games
- Talk on the phone
As you can see, hammocks are multi-functional.
Do yourself a favor and go get one. That way you can actively participate in National Hammock Day. It will put a smile on your face.
