Career Expo in Belvidere This Week

As a very wise man named George Thorogood once said, "Get a haircut and get a real job." Obviously, I did not listen to him. If you are looking for a job in a particular career or in general, then it's time to update your resume and make it to The Belvidere Career Expo and Job Fair. Over fifty businesses, schools and staffing agencies will be on hand for the event at the Community Building Complex of Boone County, 111 W. First Street in Belvidere, according to WIFR.

Representatives from the manufacturing, medical, financial fields, among others will be on hand, so look sharp. Rock Valley College and other job training institutions and schools will be there too.

There will be a shuttle bus will run between downtown Rockford and the event. Call 815-847-7574 if you would like to reserve a seat on the shuttle.
