Burger ‘Laced With A Whole Lot Of Awesome’ Unveiled At 15th & Chris

What's that you said? A new burger on the menu at 15th & Chris? Oh, one that also helps support local charities? We're in.

All James Purifoy, owner, proprietor, and mastermind, behind 15th & Chris, needed to say was tell us he added a new burger to the menu and all of Rockford would be excited.

The new burger has a different reason for existence though. That's because 15th & Chris has teamed up with Rockford City Mayor, Tom McNamara to create the "Tommy Mack."

Purifoy told Eyewitness News:

For anybody that doesn't know, this burger is laced with a whole bunch of awesomeness.

Turns out the burger is actually laced with a whole bunch of hometown wholesomeness.

Two dollars from each burger sale will go towards a charitable organization, with the burger and the organization changing every month.

Purifoy described the new addition to the menu at 15th & Chris as "kind of like a pizza on top of a hamburger."

15th & Chris is located at 201 15th Avenue in Rockford.
