To me, Mother's Day is a very special holiday. I'm celebrating the woman who gave birth to me, along with taking care of and raising me. Also, it's the time to honor my wife and the mother of my daughter. This is no pickup a card and some flowers or candy on the day of and on the way to her house holiday. It doesn't have to be a huge and expensive gift or celebration, just something thoughtful and from the heart.

Back when I was a kid, my dad took Mother's Day to the next level. He always got my mom some really nice gifts, but he also took her somewhere special to eat. We would drive to some very unique places for a delicious lunch. He made it an amazing day for her.

I believe I found that place for this year. It's Brookfield Zoo. Their Mother's Day brunch is on actual Mother's Day Sunday, May 10th. Besides the delicious brunch, there will also be live music, a Frose greeting for mom, bottomless mimosas, a gift for mom, and here's the best part: you get to enjoy the zoo too. It's an amazing day for the whole family.
