Bird Owners Beware: Parrot Uses Owner’s Amazon Alexa To Place Orders While They’re Out
If you own a bird and an Amazon Alexa you may want to be careful!
One owner found out that their parrot was using their Alexa to place orders when they weren't home.
Whoops!
Rocco, the African Grey who resides in the United Kingdom, has been using his owner's Alexa to demand treats like strawberries, broccoli, watermelon, ice cream, and raisins.
He's also placed orders for light bulbs, a kite, and a kettle.
Apparently, this parrot is a bit of a dancing machine as he uses Alexa to play music too.
So if you're a bird owner you may want to be a bit more careful with what you teach your bird to say and what you are saying to Alexa when they're listening.
Otherwise, you might come home to find mystery boxes on your porch.
