One of America’s Best Tasting (and Cheap) Beers is Brewed in Wisconsin

I only know this because in our house, the months when this beer isn't available, well, it's some dark, dark days.

Primarily, because this beer not only tastes like a big gulp of sunshine, it's also perfect on a gorgeous spring or summer day.

Drinking this beer in the dead of winter just doesn't feel the same. I'm only mentioning that because Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy is tough to find in January and February.

In Mashed's Cheapest Beer That Actually Tastes Great, Leinie's Summer Shandy is totally deserving of the honor.

If all you want is a relaxing afternoon of cool, light refreshment, then you'd be hard-pressed to find a better brew than Leinenkugel Summer Shandy.

Again, you can't go wrong just chilling on the deck, patio, or on a boat when a Summer Shandy is in the mix.

As with all Leinenkugel beers, it's also pretty damn cheap. A six-pack will generally run you no more than $9, putting it just a shade above cheaper domestic options like Bud and Coors.

And considering those things are basically only good for playing beer pong and cleaning out your bowels, we feel like the extra dollar or two for a six-pack of Summer Shandy is most definitely worth the trade-off.

For only a few bucks more, it's the choice. Also, the realization that Summer Shandy exists about as long as the season, you better get your fill or stock up.

Not saying my wife and I haven't hoarded Summer Shandy for future imbibing but then again, I don't want to lie to you. For what it's worth the Summer Shandy didn't last long enough to consider it a "Fall" Shandy.
