Ben Zobrist Officially Announces Retirement

After months of speculation, the former Cub makes it official. 

The end of Ben Zobrist's career wasn't exactly storybook, but Zobrist will always be remembered fondly by Cub fans for having one of the biggest hits in Cub history.

No word on what is next for Zobrist but I wouldn't be surprised if you see him pop up around the Cubs team this year. He already was a guest of the team during spring training and it's no secret that he was a valuable member of the clubhouse when he was with the Cubs.
