According to WREX Belvidere North High School is currently on lockdown. A message was sent out from the Belvidere School District 100 Facebook page. YOU CAN READ IT HERE

The Belvidere Police Department has confirmed that Belvidere North High School and its surrounding schools and roads are currently on lockdown.
