As long as I can remember, I've been a big fan of music. Someone said to me once, "You'll outgrow that music stuff." Well, that was forty years ago, and I still love music. It's my happy place. Most of my life, there's some kind of music playing around me.

I was really excited to hear that the city of Beloit has set aside a full day to celebrate music for both fans and players. It's on June 21st, the worldwide day of music, which is also the summer solstice.

The 3rd annual Make Music Beloit celebration is Saturday, June 21, 2025.

 

The city will come alive with music in the streets, parks, offices, schools, and unique venues near you!

 

The Make Music Beloit's slogan is perfect for the event. It's "Performed by Anyone, Enjoyed by Everyone." I love the fact that all is included. This celebration of music happens all over the world, and Wisconsin has the most cities participating.
