Thousands have fallen victim to the latest Social Security scams, and their collective loss is in the tens of millions of dollars.

Dennis Horton, Director of the Rockford Regional Office of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), joins us twice monthly with updates on how you can protect yourself (and your family and friends) from the latest and most effective scams being run.

This morning, Dennis briefed us on how many people have been taken in by various scams revolving around Social Security, and how customer support numbers you find online may not be what you think they are.
