‘The Disaster Artist,’ ‘Lady Bird’ and more heading to Amazon Prime next month.

Guillermo del Toro’s long-awaited adaptation of the classic YA horror novel series is finally happening — for real this time.

There are some pretty good ones hitting the road next month, including Goodfellas, Ocean’s Eleven, and Disney’s live-action The Jungle Book.

Next month brings new seasons of Dear White People and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, as well as comedy specials from the likes of John Mulaney, Steve Martin and Martin Short, and Tig Notaro.

In what will definitely be one of the wildest rumors you hear all week, Woody Harrelson might be playing the villainous Carnage in Sony’s Venom movie.

Following today’s report on Gore Verbinski’s exit from Channing Tatum’s Gambit movie, Fox is making some big moves — the most major of which is, unsurprisingly, with Deadpool 2. The studio has moved the sequel to 2016’s R-rated anti-superhero hit up to May, almost a whole month earlier than its June 1 release date.

It didn’t take long for Star Wars theories and Easter eggs to flood the internet after The Last Jedi hit theaters (we put together our own handy video here). But to find one of the most interesting connections to Rian Johnson’s game-changing sequel, you’ll have to revisit last year’s Rogue One, which centered on a hastily-assembled team’s efforts to steal the Death Star plans from the Empire. As it turns out, that film features an Easter egg that sets up a crucial plot point in The Last Jedi.

While Disney and Lucasfilm are preparing to unleash Star Wars: The Last Jedi in theaters on December 15, some theater owners aren’t feeling the Force — specifically, the demands Disney has in place for screenings and their cut of the profits. Although most moviegoers in larger markets with bigger theaters won’t have to worry about missing out on the next chapter in the Star Wars saga, fans in smaller cities might get burned.
