A couple of months ago, I ended up watching an air guitar competition that way. If I had stumbled across this new sport, I would have definitely spent some time watching it. I'm talking about Armored MMA and Medieval Cage fighting. It's just like it sounds. The fighters are dressed up in armor like knights and battling in a cage.
According to Secret Chicago...
This event brings together Medieval brutality and high-level competition; it’s exactly what it sounds like.
Watch two competitors go head to head in the cage, decked out in armor, shields, swords and axes!
See 10 epic matches but each round can only have one winner!

The event is happening on Saturday, October 25th, at the Hammond Civic Center. This is legit because it's being held in an honest-to-goodness arena and not some back-alley dive bar. It will definitely be a lot more exciting than Medieval Times.
You might think that knights fighting in a cage might be fake, but this is the real thing. No scripts, just pure brawling between two people dressed in armor. You'll feel like you traveled back in time to experience something like this event.
