I kept seeing black and white question mark signs posted in Rockford. Thanks to a loyal fan, I have found the answer to the question we all asked.

Question Mark Sign Meaning in Rockford

All across Rockford, on different street light and utility poles, I am seeing these black and white question marks.

The sign is a white question mark, with a black background and a white border around it.

I have no idea who is hanging them around town, but thanks to one loyal listener Michelle, I believe we may have cracked the code on the sign's meaning.

Have you heard of the Black Eyed Peas? No, not the food, the musical group.

More importantly, have you heard of their song titled, Where is The Love? featuring Justin Timberlake?

Here are the opening lyrics to the song:

“People killin', people dyin', Children hurtin', you hear them cryin'?
Can you practice what you preach?, And would you turn the other cheek
Father, Father, Father help us, Send some guidance from above
'Cause people got me, got me questionin', Where is the love?”

The song repeatedly asks the question, 'Where is the love?'

Through all of the hate and violence, can you find the love? Can you be one to show love?

It has an incredibly strong message of uniting as a community, to over come the negative.

What does this have to do with the question mark signs all over Rockford? Watch the music video below.

Do you see the connection?

I think this is the answer we have been looking for! Rockford, where is the love.
