Somebody came up with a new list that I had to share with you.

What REALLY makes a city considered the best to live in and visit?  Could it be the weather? Quiet neighborhoods? The people? Number of attractions?

Honestly, I'd say weather rules over a lot of other things because I would LOVE to enjoy the sun all year long.  Living in the Midwest makes it pretty hard to predict the weather, too.  One day it could be 75 degrees and sunny, the next 30 degrees and raining.  I'd take the 75 degree weather, sweating a little bit on my upper lip, but getting a really nice tan at the same time over winter any day.  You cannot change my mind.

CHICAGO: ONE OF AMERICA'S BEST CITIES TO LIVE IN & VISIT

It's no brainer Chicago would make the list at #4.  Their diversity, summer festivals, restaurants, and attractions all work together to help make Chicago one of the best in America. What makes them stand out though?

#1: CONNECTIVITY

Chicago has a crazy amount of DIRECT destinations when flying out of the Chicago O'Hare Airport.  Not to mention O'Hare was ranked the third largest airport in the world.  So much more opportunity to meet diverse groups of people from all walks of life!

#2: NIGHTLIFE

There's so much to do in the summer when you're in Chicago; sightsee, visit the Bean installation, trolley ride around the city, take Instagrammable moments, and have endless nightlife fun.  Restaurants can be found at every corner so you can stay at the bar longer without going hungry!

There's nearly 3 million people living in Chicago as we speak.  That's a lot of people!  This means it's much easier to make connections, grow as an artist or musician, and thrive way more with the endless opportunities out there.

I just couldn't deal with the traffic or street parking, nope.  I don't think I could ever live in Chicago because of how long it takes in traffic to get from point A to point B.  Plus, the chance of getting in a fender bender is so much higher.

So, do you think Chicago deserves to be at the top of the list of 'America's Best Cities To Live In & Visit'?  Are there other cities that deserve the spot instead?  You tell me, I've lived in Illinois my entire life, so all I know is Chicago seems to always be thriving in many, many ways.  To see who ranked #1, visit the entire list here.
