American Idol Contestant Sings I Want You To Want Me On Cheap Trick Day

It took a while but American Idol contestant, Laci Kaye Booth might be on her way to winning the competition, and it might be in part due to an incredible Cheap Trick cover.

We're from Rockford, you're from Rockford, so you know when you hear about Cheap Trick in the news you tend to pay a bit more attention.

So regardless if you're into American Idol anymore or not, checking out Booth's slowed down and kinda sad version of Cheap Trick's I Want You To Want Me, is an excellent cover of a great song.

Idol judge, Luke Bryan said:

When I saw the song you were doing, I was like, Oh, God, she's going to come out here and do some kinda cheesy version of a fast song...But then when you came out and hit that easy note, I was like, 'No, she ain't. She's fixin' to knock it out of the park.'
