Alpine Academy Extremely Damaged By Fire [VIDEO]

Alpine Academy had to cancel their Christmas program last night as the roof engulfed in flames.

When going to see your little ones perform in a Christmas program, the last thing you would imagine would happen would be a fire.

This happened last night at the Alpine Academy. Just after 5 p.m. according to WTVO, the roof of the building was engulfed in flames.

Alpine Academy was preparing for a Christmas show and thankfully those who were in the building at the time of the blaze exited safely.

What caused the fire is still being investigates, but it may have been an electrical fire.

The Academy's gymnasium suffered an estimated $200,000 in damages.
