When you think back over time what's a Rockford restaurant that you remember, loved, miss, wish was still here...There are a lot of great ones that have come and gone, hopefully all of out current favorites stay put.

I watched a show over the weekend all about "small business" and the impact felt from COVID-19. Will the stores and restaurants across the country be able to survive into the new year. These locally own stores and eateries are more than just a business, they are a way of life. You have to be passionate and 100% involved to own one, and we see that throughout Rockford.

Growing up in Freeport, coming over to Rockford for a lunch or dinner was always something special. I was able to try quite a few different places over the years that no longer exist.

You can't go wrong with LT's wings, ever...But I think one of my favorites had to be Maria's. The pizza, the pasta, the meatballs, the bread...the food never once disappointed.

Now I know Maria's hasn't been gone too long, but man does it feel like forever. Do you have a favorite spot to eat in Rockford as a kid? Maybe a hangout as a teenager?

So now it's your turn, "Age Yourself With a Rockford Restaurant." Can't wait to see this list.
