From Film Making Camp, Minecraft Camp to Tennis Camp, there are plenty of awesome overnight camps you can feel good about sending your kids to this summer.

I never went away to camp as a kid. As a teenager I went to Northern Illinois University with my high school dance team for UDA dance camp. It was a grueling 4 day experience of dancing, dorm living and cafeteria food each year, but it was filled with some of the greatest memories of my life.

I believe every child should experience some sort of overnight camp in their lifetime. It's a great way to get out, explore, test your own personal limits and friendships will be made that will last the test of time.

Here are nine awesome summer camps in Illinois to send your kids to this summer from KidsCamps.com.
