89 Law Enforcement Agencies Have Expressed Their Condolences for the Rockford Police Department

Are you ready for your heart to burst at the seams?  While it's not the way we wanted it to happen, the city of Rockford is finally getting the love it deserves in the national spotlight.

According to WREX, 89 law enforcement agencies from across the nation have expressed their condolences for our fallen hero, Jaimie Cox, his family, friends and the entire Rockford Police Department.

Take a look at the map that WREX shared on Facebook; each red-orange marker represents an law enforcement agency that has recognized Officer Cox.

Officer Cox was a light in the darkness that is our city and this is our time to take his light and shine; his death will not be in vain and I truly believe that from this tragedy, the city of Rockford will find a way to triumph and overcome the evil that is plaguing our city.
