Yuck. A great word to describe what today looks like weather wise. But fear not, if you must travel we have you covered!
According to The Simple Dollar here are 7 Tips For Dealing With Winter Weather Conditions:
- Put a sheet over your windshield
- Use alcohol instead of de-icer
- Try mixing water, alcohol, and dishwashing soap, too
- For icy sidewalks, mix calcium chloride and rock salt
- For driveways, just use sand
- Shovel snow properly
- Keep an emergency kit at home – and another in the car
These are great tips, and to think certain radio person in this building made fun of me for putting a U-Haul blanket on my windshield when I got here this morning.
