Mother Nature has ruined the snow sculpting fun again, let's just hope she gets her act together by February.

The Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition was scheduled to begin at Sinissippi Park on Wednesday, January 16, and Rockford Park District employees have been hard at work making snow since New Years, but it's been melting as fast as they can make it, so a call had to be made. The call, unfortunately, is way too familiar...

I understand there's a lot of moving parts, people and schedules that need to be considered when rescheduling this competition, but my question is this, why not move the competition date permanently to February? January just doesn't seem to be working out for us...year after year.
