I'm sorta glad I didn't grow up in the age of the smartphone. But as a parent trying to raise two girls in it, a road map is rather helpful.

Teens are always on their phones, it sorta sad but true.

Most of them use it to keep in constant contact with their friends.

But being someone who put her parents through hell as a teen I can only imagine how things are going to go when it is my turn.

And with the new technology that's available, it's a lot easier for teens to be sneaky with what they're doing.

Let's just say, some apps are not what they seem. Thankfully the Winnebago County Sheriffs have taken to social media to share the 14 Apps Rockford parents should be aware of.

They posted the image below to their Facebook page warning parents about these apps and what their kids could be doing on them.
