After a very scary morning, a non-verbal child has been reunited with his parents in DeKalb.

Nothing is worse than the idea of parents searching for their children.

A young boy was found early this morning on South Annie Glidden road in DeKalb.

While there isn't much information regarding what the child was doing when police found him, he appeared to be four years old yet was not verbally communicating with police.

Thankfully after a few hours of the DeKalb police's post on social media, the boy's parents were found and they've been reunited.

The post garnered over 4500 shares on Facebook, which is an excellent use of the social media platform that often gets a bad rep for being filled with politics and negativity.
