Would Rockford Schools Triple Recess Time?

Recess, every child's favorite part of school growing up.

The Eagle Mountain Elementary in Fort Worth Texas I think has it right. Triple to normal Recess time for their students.

So here is how this works:

• It's for kindergarten and first-grade students
• They Get two 15-minute recess breaks every morning
• Two 15-minute breaks every afternoon

This is genius if you ask me. According to Live the Organic Dream the experiment has been going on for about five months and it is a huge success. 

Teachers say the focus of the students is better and the kids are doing a better job at paying attention. Seriously, isn't that every teachers dream? Would something like this work in Rockford?

So instead of loading up the kids on ADHD medicines, more recess? If that doesn't sound like an awesome plan. More Monkey Bars and swing sets and less prescription drugs.
