The Coronado Performing Arts Center really is the crown jewel of northern Illinois. How great is this venue in downtown Rockford, you ask? So great that when I took my four year old son to see Bear in the Big Blue House live on stage, it was like witnessing all of Shakespeare's works at once. That may be a bit much, but you get the idea. It's a great theater with a great past.

Comedian Brian Regan is returning to the Coronado on Thursday, February 12 and guess who has tickets to giveaway this week? Your pal Brizz does during the 2:00 Ticket Window. Much like my barber, I have a sense of humor and I love to laugh. All week I will play a Classic Comedy Clip between 2:00-3:00 p.m. The tenth caller at 815-227-9670 scores a pair of tickets to see Brian Regan.

This clip of Brian from 1991 is hilarious and it taught me a little something too. That the stink of 1980s fashion really lingered into the 90s, didn't it?

Monday's Classic Comedy Clip was some of Bill Murray's finest work. His infamous death scene in Zombieland. The regret he shares at the end really brings it all home.
