If you've been outside for 5 minutes lately, you've no doubt been attacked by mosquitoes. We have just two things to blame for the serious mosquito problem right now.

Has it seemed to you that there are more mosquitoes than normal?

Are you covered in bites and scratching yourself everywhere?

Has your significant other been asking you to scratch there back every 10 minutes?

Have you said out loud, "WTF is with all these mosquitoes?"

There are more mosquitoes than normal and there's an explanation. While I'm sure some insect expert could spend 30 minutes explaining in great detail, it's really quite simple.

A combination of it staying colder longer in March, this late blast of intense summer heat and humidity and a lot of rain in the last few weeks. And that rain is a big part. Mosquitoes love to lay their eggs in dirty standing water and right now, it's everywhere.

So there ya go. That's why you feel like Samuel L. Jackson in Snakes On A Plane, you've had it with these motherf***ing mosquitoes on your motherf***ing skin.

And lastly, it's going to take some good chilly nights before this situation gets better.
