Of all the major pro sports teams in Chicago, which is rated the top fan experience?

I have attended games for five out of the six major pro sports franchises in Chicago which include Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs, and White Sox. Chicago Fire soccer team is the only one I've missed, but I've been to their stadium for other events.

I've had a great experience at all of them. If you remove the win or lose factor, you really can't go wrong. Each team and stadium have its pros and cons, but I think for all of them the good definitely outweighs the bad.

According to the dailyherald.com,

"J.D. Power questioned sports fans about their overall experience in which satisfaction was evaluated, in order of importance, on the seating area and game experience, security and ushers, leaving the game, arriving at the game, food and beverage, ticket purchase, and souvenirs and merchandise."

The results might surprise you. Remember it's not based on team record, but on the fan's experience at the game.

  1. White Sox
  2. Fire
  3. Blackhawks
  4. Bulls
  5. Cubs
  6. Bears

What do you think? Do you agree?

You could argue that the White Sox are the least and the Bears are the most popular teams in the city. That doesn't seem to matter.

I feel like we are pretty lucky here in Rockford. You can have a great fan experience going to an IceHogs and Rivets game. Rockford Speedway is fun too.
