Today I did something for the first time ever at work, I opened the fridge in the kitchen.

I bring my own food, and have my own fridge. But today while heating up some food in the microwave I opened up the fridge in the break room/kitchen.

This is the first time I've ever braved this action, yikes. The "work fridge" looked a lot like my brain when I try to fall asleep at night, a little bit of everything and just a cluttered mess.

There was a strange odor, a wide variety of odd containers, opened bottles and just a lot of crap. I wasn't sure if tell someone, clean it myself, scream and run away, or throw up.

Here are some "highlights" from the work fridge:

  • Cheap Beer
  • Open Cheese
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Various Containers of Dip
  • Enough Plastic Bags to get Groceries later
  • Rum Chata

Years and years ago at a radio station that I worked at out in the middle of nowhere, we did a contest where if you wanted concert tickets you had to let us dump contents from the fridge on your head. I would not wish that, or this fridge on you.

Now I know we have some healthy eaters in this building, they must keep food in their own spaces as well.
