What Local Bartenders Really Hear From a Customer, Part II

The reaction to my first blog about what bartenders "really" hear was incredible.

When you go out for a drink, are you treating your servers good? You do realize that all bartenders have heard what you are about to say 100 times?  The food and alcohol industry is pretty intense, and you being on your behavior is so key.

So here we are with the second installment of "What Local Bartenders Really Hear From a Customer" as provided by Kevin Gliwa from Drop Lounge in Chicago.

• I BOUGHT A BOTTLE AND TABLE WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT - Lets make a copy of their card and ID as they will be getting kicked out tonight and tomorrow disputing their tab.
• DO YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE A JACK AND COKE - great you have only drank at house parties, God I hope I dont make eye contact with you the rest of the night.
• AFTER WAITING 4 DEEP AT THE BAR YOU ASK TO SEE A BEER LIST - Security
•  I WASN'T FINISHED WITH THAT DRINK YET - sorry I didn't know you were eating the ice cubes
• I'M FRIENDS WITH THE DJ -who? You should know the DJ's name.
• THIS DRINK DIDN'T TASTE RIGHT - you just figured that out now after drinking ALL of it. Here tell me if this water tastes right.
•  I'M A LAWYER I KNOW MY RIGHTS - Yes you have the right of me showing you to the EXIT
• FIRST WORDS OUT OF MOUTH IS "IM INDUSTRY" - real industry doesn't say im industry
• CAN I REQUEST A SONG FROM YOU - so the DJ even told you get away because you are annoying
•  HOW MUCH IS COMPLIMENTARY - what a potato
