What is This Weird Looking Animal Spotted in Rockford?

Here is a video to show the family and friends over the weekend. I call it, "what the hell is that"?

I came across a video shot in Rockford back in September of 2015. There is this "unknown" animal confidently walking the streets of Rockford.

What could this animal possibly be, and why is it walking the streets of Rockford?

Here is my first guess, it's just a dirty beat up fox. Done, game over right?

Let's throw out some other possibilities:

• A large house cat
• Mongoose
• Pika
• Darwin's Fox
• Saola
• Northern Hairy-Nosed Wombat
• Durrell's Vontsira

For the record those are all real animals, look it up. I did meet some animal experts from Hoo Haven last week, maybe I should just ask them. By the way check out Captain Jack the Bald Eagle.
