Was Chicago Supposed to Be Stephen Paddock’s First Target?

I read a headline on TMZ this morning that made me sick to my stomach all over again…

STEPHEN PADDOCK BOOKED HOTEL OVERLOOKING LOLLAPALOOZA 2 Months Before Massacre

OMG. Hundreds of thousands of people attend Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival every August, and now it looks like that may have been where Paddock was planning his first attack.

The TMZ article says;

Paddock booked one room for August 1, 2017, 2 days before the August 3 kickoff. Paddock then booked a second room for an August 3 arrival. Both rooms had an August 6 checkout .. that’s when Lollapalooza ended.

The article goes on to say;

Paddock specifically requested both rooms be a “view room” which only face Grant Park, where the concert was being held. And here’s the scariest part … it’s difficult if not impossible to flee because of the river.

I cannot even. Thank God Paddock never showed up for his room reservation, but it makes me wonder, how long was he actually planning such murderous intentions? What foiled his Chicago plans? My brain seriously cannot comprehend the insanity of this man.
