This Illinois City Is Top Rated For Loners

If you're a loner, there's a top-rated city in Illinois for you.

I've lived with roommates in the past. Sometimes it was good and other times, not so much.

It's nice when it comes to paying for rent and bills to have someone to split them with.

Having to share a place with an annoying person is the worst.

I would be willing to pay more myself than end up with a horrible roommate.

You'll be surprised how many people in the United States actually live by themselves.

According to 247wallst.com,

"Across the United States, about 1 in every 10 Americans — 10.3% — live alone. More than 1 in every 4 households — 27.9% — are made up of a single individual."

Decatur, Illinois is rated #4 in America, where 36.1% of its population lives alone. It's not too far behind the #1 rated city which is Gainsville, Florida.

Looks like that might be the place to go, if you want to fit in as a loner.

I'm sure the cost of living is reasonable there too.

Just think, if enough loners move there, Decatur could someday become #1.
