Now that it finally snowed in Rockford, here are things you could do.

You've been waiting for months for the snow to come. It's finally here, so now you need to make up for lost time with your winter activities.

This could be your last chance, so make the most of your time.

Here is a list of winter things to do.

1. Snow blow your driveway - You spent all that time researching snow blowers to find the best one. You spent good money on it. You didn't get to use it all winter. Take this opportunity and go snow blower crazy. Maybe even do your neighbor's driveway too.

2. Play with the kids - The children have been cooped up indoors all winter. Kids love playing the snow. Build snowman, have a snowball fight, and make a snow fort. It's good family bonding. Plus, it will wear them out.

3. Sledding - It doesn't matter what age, sledding is always fun. Head over to Twin Sisters Park and go wild. It will secure the room they take up in the garage for another off season.

4. Snowmobiling - You thought your buddy was giving you a great deal when he sold you his snowmobile last fall. Since then, it's been sitting on a trailer behind your garage. It's time to pull them out to Lockwood Park and go for a ride.

5. Hit the slopes - I know the ski mountains make snow, but there's finally some real snow. Take advantage. Use a vacation day and head up to Alpine Valley for a little winter fun.

I hope you enjoy some fun in the snow. If you hate snow, just think the first day of Spring is just around the corner.
