This probably doesn't come as a surprise to you, but all of those times you were on Facebook and wanted to know who your soulmate was, what you'd look like as a member of the opposite sex, or what state you should live in based on your personality, you were putting yourself in harms way for having your personal information stolen.

Whaat? No! Really?

I feel like most of us already knew this, which is why I stopped taking those a long time ago (except for that one where you get to see yourself as a dude); but according to Fox 32 Chicago, our suspicions have been confirmed.

When you take a FREE quiz on Facebook, it often provides you with a link to get your result, once you click on that link, your personal information could be leaked to hackers.  That information can be used to do things like access your bank account and take control of your phone.

The BBB says you should never take online quizzes. Additionally, they recommend that you limit what you share online and avoid accepting friend requests from people you don't know.
