As the 2018 county fair season approaches, the Illinois Dept of Agriculture has released the final attendance numbers for the 2017 fair season and the Stateline can brag as four of the best attended County fairs are here in Northern Illinois.

HERE ARE THE TOP 5 BEST ATTENDED ILLINOIS COUNTY FAIRS IN 2017

1. Boone County Fair - 211,473 Attended

2. DeKalb County Fair (Sandwich Fair) - 177,660 attended

3. Winnebago - 130,000 attended

4. Lake County Fair - 100,000 attended

5. DuPage County Fair- 98,120 attended
